about

About this site.

This site provides advice and discussion on leveraging technology to enable knowledge sharing. It came about as I realized that one of the things I’ve enjoyed the most about any job I’ve had has been helping people. While I enjoy many things about the work I do (including the technology side of things and all the writing I get to do), the thing I really enjoy is feeling I’m making a difference to people. I felt many of the things I do for the organizations I’ve worked for have now become possible for smaller businesses and non-profit organizations.

There are many other aspects of this site I hope will develop in the near future — providing some insights into how to use your own knowledge, the knowledge of others and technology to lead a happier and more productive life. Please feel free to contact me or leave a comment on the site if there’s an idea or suggestion you have on how I can improve it. Thanks for reading.

About me.

I’ve worked and studied in the fields of information and knowledge management (including public libraries, academic libraries, government institutions and a few major financial firms) for around the past 8 years. I currently work in knowledge management in a global financial firm, where I get to do some really interesting stuff with both knowledge management and technology. If you’re still curious to know more about me, you can also check out my LinkedIn profile.
